Hereditary risk and longevity guidance for long-term health and wellness

Hereditary Risk & Longevity Guidance

Serving patients throughout St. Louis Park, Minneapolis, Plymouth, Minnetonka, Maple Grove, and the Twin Cities.

Guidance provided by Katie Seremet, FNP-C, helping patients understand hereditary cancer risk, genetic predispositions, and opportunities to support long-term health and longevity.

Integrative, compassionate guidance for those navigating hereditary cancer risk, genetic predispositions, and long-term health decisions.

Learning you carry a hereditary risk, like BRCA1, can feel life-changing. Fear, uncertainty, and pressure can quickly take over, making every decision feel heavier than it should. I know this personally—I live with BRCA1, and I’ve walked the path of balancing risk with living fully.

I understand how isolating it can feel when conversations focus only on what might happen, or what needs to be removed, without guidance on how to care for yourself, feel grounded, and live meaningfully in the meantime.

This is why my approach is different: here, we focus on supporting your body, mind, and spirit, helping you build resilience and agency so you can live fully while thoughtfully reducing long-term risk.

Understanding Your Risk Without Living in Fear

Living with hereditary risk is not just about labs or genes—it’s about your life, your choices, and your nervous system. As someone who has personally navigated hereditary cancer risk, I understand the uncertainty, fear, and complexity that can come with genetic information, and I know how valuable it is to have guidance that is:

  • Grounded in medical expertise

  • Rooted in lived experience

  • Personalized to your body, life, and goals

Here, you are not reduced to a gene, genetic mutation, or a checklist. You are seen as a whole person—body, mind, and spirit—with a future worth protecting and enjoying.
